Hello Again, i am back to ask another question when i apply to British Embassy for my Wifes Visa, i need to enclose a letter of where we will live, My father has said we can stay at his home because he lives overseas & also proof of ownership.

what sort of thing needs to be in the letter, this is what he has emailed asking if it is ok??

I am pleased to hear you were to visit England and stay at (Town) this year, I write to confirm that you may stay and enjoy the full use of my property at (Address) as long as you wish.

My property becomes vacant on Oct 14th certain although i expect it to be available by mid Sept. Let me Know if you need any other info re Electric, gas ,water supply .

Love Dad

Will this be ok, or can anyone add anything??

thanks

Hi MisterMister,

It probably better if your father writes a formal letter addressed to the visa officer (although he should send it to you to give). Something along the lines of:-

Dear ECO,

This letter serves to confirm that I am the owner of the property at (address) which is a X-bedroomed house. I enclose xxx as proof of my ownership. I am pleased to be in a position to let my son, (name) and his wife (name) have the use of the house for as long as is necessary and they will be the sole occupants.

Yours sincerely,

xxxxxxxxxx

Best of luck,

Scouse.
