How do members advance through groups? How many posts add up to what groups?

not too sure. But when you get to 500 posts then you can change it yourself. Just look at mine.

500 posts makes puts you in advanced member group, so that you can visit bedlam and change your member title.

...but we deduct 100 from your "number of posts" if we think you are posting just to change your status (I've actually posted over 7,000 times )
