Luton became the first team to be promotd last night, without kicking a ball.

Brentford beat Tranmere 1-0 which guaranteed 2nd spot for the Hatters

They did. Had a good run in the 80's but went on a downward spiral .

Just came out of administration so an even harder fight for them against teams with money to spend ( Hull City)

Congratulations, I have seen Luton play many times. They were the FIRST TEAM to play at the Madjeski Stadium when they lost 3-0 to Reading. I think Eric Morcombe used to be a Director at the Club.

Mike Newall has done a wonderful job there and I would not be surprissed to see them pushing for the play-offs next year.

I would be the first to admit Luton is a bit of an eyesore, but no more than any

other provincial town.

Though it was voted Crappiest Town in Britain last year
