Hspa Short-term Package?

Featured Replies

hi guys,

i'll be staying in bangkok for a couple of weeks and wonder if there's any HSPA package that includes the USB dongle available on the market?

Please kindly advice cos otherwise it'll be quite a hassle especially when i'm in/out of the hotel so much.

thx and much appreciate your reply.

Don't think so. True is the only 3G provider in BKK right now and they only offer post-paid AFAIK.

TOT announced 3G just recently so this may or may not change in the coming weeks.

I think, you are not from Thailand,so probably you do not know about GPRS-EDGE short term solutions available from

AIS and DTAC or TRUE.They can not be called broadband mobile, but they work. You need USB dongle or proper mobile handset and of course

local SIM card,SIM cards are available in mobile shops,7/11,tobacco kiosks - anywhere.DTAC has good reputation for reliable connections.

You will find all necesery info somewhere here in ThaiVisa - in many old threads.
