Scottish Island Used To Promote Thai Beach

Has anyone else noticed the uncanny similarity between Kai Bae beach and one on a remote Scottish island?

No, neither have I. But someone in the National Park office has. This is from the "It's alright, no-one will notice" files.

Exhibit A: Signboard in the visitor centre at Klong Plu Waterfall, Koh Chang extolling the virtues of Kai Bae beach

Exhibit B: The Harris Hills as seen from the Isle of Berneray, Scotland.

They're not alone. The Alberta (Canada) government did something very similar in advertising the wonders of the province for tourism. Amongst the other photos was one of a beach and water from somewhere in England, as I vaguely recall.

Don't remember the details, but there was quite some embarrassment over it.
