December 19, 200916 yr http://www.boingboing.net/2009/12/17/gibbe...-rock-song.html "In this remarkable and fully rockin' video, an Italian singer performs a rock piece whose lyrics are gibberish intended to sound like English. Entitled "What English Sounds Like to Foreigners," the video is meant to illustrate which English phonemes and syllables carry into the foreign ear, but I tell you what, it sounded like English to me, too, though like English as sung in such a way as to make it hard to decipher."

December 25, 200916 yr I once saw a Singaporean entertainer teasing a Filipina on stage by pretending to speak Tagalog......it was a very good impression, and the poor girl looked so confused ! Very staccato : "Tukateeonaporewanufitosenajor" I think that an English version would have lots of hard, Anglo-Saxon-like consonants.
