Thai Embassy Vientiane Website - Holidays List Up-to-date?

Hi!

Was thinking about applying for a visa at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane on Dec 24th and picking it up on Dec 25th.

On their website it looks like they're open on both days ( http://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/vientiane...sy/embassy_time ).

Can I trust their holidays calendar? Is it up-to-date?

20 jan is the Laos Army Day, while according to the above link the Thailand embassy is still opened. Can anypne clarify this please - i've already got both tickets...

The above link does not seem to work, but 20th Jan is indeed a public holiday in Laos and would expect the embassy/consulate to be closed. If in doubt give them a call.

Looks like the webpage still has not been updated, as this is not the first report about it. As said, expect the embassy/consulate will be closed, but you can give them a call to confirm.
