Where are you? Which country?

If in the UK you should go to the Hull Consulate website, a good idea for you would be to get a Non Immigrant O visa for visiting friends, just need a letter from your GF and a copy of her ID card and a few other bits and bobs.

I think your Only option is to get a 12 month O multiple entry and Do the 90 day Visa Runs 3 Runs to the boarder will give you the 12 months

Visa starts on day of issue so don't apply too early. If you are in the UK Hull is very good quick turn around if you have to use the the mail service.

Your best option would be to apply for a 12 month multiple entry Non-O visa from an honorary consulate on the basis of visiting friends. On each entry into the Kingdom you will receive a 90 day permission to stay. Do a border run just before your visa expires to receive new 90 day stamp stretching your visa to 15 months.

Believe you are in the UK, in which case would suggest you apply by post through the Honorary Consulate in Hull. There is minimal paperwork required (application form, passport, passport sized photo, fee).

thanks for the information

yeh i am from the uk

i am wanting to stay in Samui for the period of the stay

so what do you mean regarding the border run

You have to leave Thailand Cross into another Country and come right back . Every 90 days to keep on the right side of the law

No big Deal it all depends where you are, as to how far you have to travel to leave Thailand

Yep. Non Imm O Visa Multi Entry. Reason for visiting friends. Apply at the Thai Consulate Hull.

This will give you up to 15 months. You will have to leave Thailand every 90 days and come back again. Only have to leave for a minute and return.

There's two visa run companies that will take you to the Malaysian border and back again in one day.

You don't know the names do you please

I'm currently staying in Norway, and want to apply for an multiple-entry non-immigrant O visa in Hull, UK.

Is it possible for me to send the application through the postal service, from Norway -> Hull, or do I actually have to send this from within UK (meaning; I either have to be there in person, or at least know somebody there that can forward the application for me) ?

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Passport/visa will be returned by the honorary consulate to a UK address. So you will either need to be in UK to collect or use friend's address in the UK as a post box. Would suggest posting visa application to the consulate from within the UK (less suspicious!).

From RTC Hull website:

we will arrange return of your passport by Royal Mail Special Delivery to an address in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

This Non Imm O Visa Multi Entry is that something reserved to Britons or anyone can have it? I am Italian by the way, thank you.

Non Immigrant Multi O visa's are available for most nationalities but you need to obtain one in your own country.

Check with your nearest Thai embassy, consular office or as a last resort use the services of a visa agent to obtain one.

The consular office in Hull, England is for British nationals.

FWIW: I know 4 or 5 Americans who currently reside in Thailand on the Mult-Entry Non-Immigrant Type O visas which were issued from Hull. They did have to post them inside the UK, but as they were already there it wasn't a problem.

I just sent this email to the "contact us" email ([email protected]) on the Hull website;

I live in a neighboring EU country, but want to secure a Multi-Entry Non-Immigrant Type-O visa for the purpose of visiting friends in Thailand. Can I post my passport, application, fee, etc to you and have it returned to me in my home country (as I said a neighboring EU country), or do you only post passports to UK addresses?

Thank you in advance for your information..

Let's see what they say when they answer.. Just so we know their "official" stance on the matter concerning other EU countries.
