There have been several threads here on the Chiang Mai forum about psychotherapy, counseling, etc.

For a while we had someone here (American) who asserted he was a licensed medical doctor, and therapist, (using the nym 'Jungian'), and he actually posted a phone number, and indicated he was willing to see people free of charge at his office, with the strict stipulation he was not willing to see people who would have any expectation he would prescribe drugs or medications for them.

Our interpretation of his messages was that he did not wish to hear from people with substance abuse problems : that may be incorrect, but we'll put that (interpretation) "out here" in hopes another TV CM member may correct it, if it is, in fact, incorrect.
