Bolton's Gary Megson Sacked

BBC Sport reporting Megson has been sacked with immediate effect. Coaches Chris Evans and Steve Wigley take over until a new manager is appointed. Hardly a surprise in light of comments made by Megson over the last couple of days

It could well turn out to be a poisoned chalice so unlikely to attract any high profile candidates.

Surprised that Mugson lasted that long. To be honest he was very lucky to get an opportunity to manage in the premier league, after his previous piss poor record. Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Not exactly a popular man.

Probably because he was such a useless <deleted> and had the charisma of pond life .

I think it was Brian Clough who once said that Megson could trap a ball further than most players could kick it !!
