Buying Furniture

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have a house on samui that I need to fully furnish. Suzy Nina and Oriental living have full turn key packages, but seem to be extremely expensive.

Anyone have any ideas or know of anywhere I should check out?

Looking for middle of the road quality stuff and would like to support the local tradesman if possible.

Try by Na Muang as a few furnitire stores there.

Depends on what sort of style you are looking for.

A good place to order from is Siam Old Tak in Hua Hin and they have a comprehensive website

There is a furniture shop on the piece of empty land next to samui palm beach resort in bophut has lots of stone sculptures outside it, They sell teak wood furniture from changmai , the stuff in the shop usually isn't that great but they have catalogues which you can order from or you can design your own furniture.

If you are after modern furniture then you will be best to go over to Surathani where they have branches of all the big Bangkok stores such as SB Furniture.

At least you will be able to get comfortable settee's and bed's then.

HL :)

Tropical Interiors in Maenam, good selection and quality not sure if price comparable but i would have thought more reasonable than Suzy Ninas

Discount store near the Bophut Junction next to Italasia appears to have good priced furniture. They are selling stock from Oriental Living, so quality stuff for a fraction of the price.

Yeah i agree, their Prices are certainly more competetive than others mentioned on this Thread also..
