My wife is getting a K3 visa. Last night she had a knife to her throat while i was on the phone because she didnt buy her family in Isaan beer. She was also hit and kicked 3 times. THis is the second such incident. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is any way to speed up up the process due to these events and get her the <deleted> out of there? :o:D:D

btw she and our son is leaving the house tomorrow and any financial support to the family is now cut off :D

You are in Okinawa and wife is in Isaan, yes?

Family member had a knife to her throat?

Sorry, but your post is a little ambiguous.

While you are waiting why don't YOU get her out of there and get some accomodation away from the family. Rooms in the local town or elsewhere will not be expensive and are easy to come by. :o

I know she maybe lonely and find it hard, but it won't be for too long right..?

as i type this she is packing everything and leaving the house under police escort, so she is getting out of there. she already told me she will not come back. she is also changing her SIM card so they cannot contact her at all. (BTW, she is an orphan and this family is adopted since she was a baby, so they arent her biological family)

Sorry to read that. I hope they will be ok. It must be a big worry for you being so far away.

Good luck to you and your family. :o

thankyou

last i talked to her, the rest of the family was awake and not giving her any more problems, but i will be more at ease when she is finally away from there

this is one thing i despise about thailand (any asian country pretty much) is the way a majority of the men treat women like animals :o , even after all she (we) have done for them financially, fixing up the house, motorbikes, etc

At least she is getting out, that's the main thing...

I can't imagine what a worry it must be.... :o

Best wishes and good luck from me also... :D

You don't need a visa at all. All you have to do is go to JUSMAGTHAI in Bangkok and get her the military dependent ID card.

How do I know ? I'm military stationed in Yokosuka and did it last year in March.

Sorry about your wife. I'm a former devil dog myself. My wife lives 60km south of Surin in amper Buachet. We have a brand new bungalow avaliable next to our house. We'd be happy to welcome your wife and son and let them stay there free of charge as long as they have to. I'm curently back in the US and will be back in Thailand in late June. Our place is nice and quiet. My wife stays there with our two kids and a dog (no other relatives) The bungalow has modern western style bathroom and is ready for use. Let me know if you are interested.
