Insuring A House In Pattaya

Can anyone give me information regarding insuring a house in Pattaya. In case of fire

or storm etc.

The largest insurance company in Thailand s Varia insurance co. I'm not sure i spelled it correctly. Yjey have offices on Sukemvit, and third road.

I have a house in Bangkok and the contents of a condo in Jomtien insured with them. The importants bits of the policy are in English which is good for somebody like me who does not read Thai.

QBE's office is on Sukhumwit Rd near the Central Pattaya Rd intersection. Heading south its on the left hand side. Zurich Insurance have an office across the road from them, right hand side heading south. I don't know if Zurich write householders insurance in Thailand but its worth crossing the road to ask.
