Hmm sorry, this is going to show all my ignorance about the city, but after a couple of months, this place is really growing in me.

I like it a lot, and...geez... yes now I even think it's beautiful (harmonica , go on and kick my @ss ).

But I still have to develop a network of friends and I'm single (so no thai girl to give me a direction), and to me it's a little difficult to find interesting news about the city, I'd like to dig a little bit under the surface.

Is there a way to do that, I mean newspapers,books, websites, anything to help me develop an understanding of the dynamics of the city ( gosh, look what i just wrote...).

Any advice is really apreciated

(by the way TV is great, but I need mooore )
