When I went to Phuket a few years ago, they used to have a mobile toilet, consisting of a truck with cubicles , cost at the time I think 3 baht from memory.

Driving towards Nathon this morning, see a bus with the same set up, pulled up Maenam side of Nathon, for 2 pumpers to empty the tanks.

Where does it go on Samui? It's the first time I've seen it here.I mean it must be hard at some events, when they don't have facilities.

Saw this in Maenam 3 years ago when they had the grand opening for the Chinese Temple - it was parked on the waste land beside the temple during the opening celebrations and the meal and show - so it's been on Samui (or visiting the island) for at least 3 years

For the last 2 weekends it has been at Tiparat School in Maenam, there has been a football tounament on with all the schools in Samui and the school must have arranged for it be there.......We didnt need to pay to use it though!
