Fast Road Tax In Phuket

Featured Replies

In the past, we have always been to get our road tax in the morning (mid morning) at Phuket Land Transport office and usually had to wait for 60 to 80 minutes.

Today (Tuesday) we turned up at just after 1 o'clock, got ticket, number called within a couple of minutes, paid up and out - all done in less than 5 minutes. I don't know if it's always like this just after lunch - but may be of interest to anyone about to get their road tax.

Also had the same experience.

Same, same if I have to visit the doctor, hospital ect always go after lunch.

Seems Thai's like to do things early morning

For the past few years I have never had to wait much more than 10 minutes when busy, almost instantly if quiet. I always go in the morning.
