Cracked Pane Of Glass In 6th Floor Condo.

Featured Replies

Have just discovered a cracked pane of glass in one of the windows in my 6th floor condo and, as the owner, am looking for a qualified and safety-conscious tradesman to replace it.

Can anyone suggest someone qualified/experienced enough to do this job?

Many thanks,

Bucklt :)

Is it a wood or aluminum frame? Different tradesmen for each, if you want good ones.

Aluminum frame, smoked glass, measures about 60''x28''.

If you speak Thai, try calling 053 424417 or 081 9930339 for one shop and 053 491 058 for a second shop. Try the first one first, probably a bit less expensive. Both can do the job, both are good quality established businesses doing large and small projects. I think they both have someone who can probably speak enough English to get a piece of glass replaced but I am not sure because all my dealings with them have been in Thai.

Do you trust the management company where you are? If so then ask them to get it done.

My BF leaned back against one of my windows in the bkk condo, sending the glass (smoked with aluminum frame) sailing from the 6th floor down to the 2nd -- frame and all. The management company had a guy in to reshape the frame and put in new glass the next day.

My cost ... 1000 baht
