What are the procedures for leaving Combodia and entering Thailand at Poipet? Do you have to stamp-out in Cambodia first and then stamp-in in Thailand? We have work visas for Thailand so we don't need to apply for visas do we?

Yes you have to obtain visa for Cambodia and on return stamp out of Cambodia. For Thailand if you have a valid visa you use that to enter. If you are on a one year extension of stay in Thailand you must have obtained a re-entry permit before exit and you enter that information to return.

If you are talking about no mans land for gambling do not know the procedure for foreigners so advise and am sure others can fill you in.

Lop, they are talking about coming from Cam to Thailand, you are talking out going the other way...Thailand to Cam.

OP...first of all you dont have a work visa...there is no such animal, on would guess you have a Non-imm B...this is not a work visa.

And you are leaving one country and entering into another, so you have to chop out Cambodia and chop into Thailand. As Lopburi has stated if you decide to leave Thailand you need a re-entry permit or you visa is invalidated.

Actually I was providing the circuit there and back as the use of "work visas" was not clear and could imply they lived and worked here (Thailand).

the cambodian immigration station (inbound and outbound) beware; inbound is on one side and outbound is on the other side of the road and situated up the road about 20-30 metres from the

Grand Diamond Casino hotel (actually near their duty free store front). It's not a large building so you may miss it

so be careful to get your exit chop stamp prior to entering Thailand immigration.
