weka
Anybody know what the train station type looking structures are on Rama 3 and Narathiwat? I see they are changing the traffic lanes to make room for these "buildings" which have been there for a few years - they look like MRT stations

Curt1591
Actually, they are "BRT" stations, Bus Rapid Transit. The plan is express buses from Thonburi to Silom.
123ace
They are for buses not trains. The concept seems half baked as the buses will share the already busy road, traffic lights etc, therefore offering no real improvement in journey time to existing buses. The platforms nicely protrude into the fast lane on a very fast road! Now they are digging up the roads in front of the stations - no doubt in yet another brainwave scheme...
