Best School/ Place To Learn Japanese In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hey Folks,

the Thai Language forum doesnt seem the right place. So I hope my question is better here.

Where is the best place/ school in Thailand or better Bangkok to learn Japanese as beginner? Any recomendations here?

Cheers.

You might want to check with the Japanese embassy. Someone should there should know.

There has been debate on whether their ALG method (for Thai) works, (and sticking to their rules of not speaking Thai in Thailand is difficult) and it has as many (or maybe more on here) critics as it has supporters, but, as well as the Thai programme, AUA also runs a Japanese one. One advantage over the Thai programme would be that it should be easier to refrain from speaking Japanese here in Thailand and therefore you have a better chance of following the programme properly and consequently end up speaking better Japanese at the end of the programme. Might be worth you checking it out to see if it is to your taste. However, remember that this is a long haul programme aiming for near native results, it is NOT a quick results programme. If you want the latter, it is fair to say, look elsewhere.
