Thank You Everyone Uk, Settlement Visa Granted

Featured Replies

Thank you everyone for all your help during the last six months. My Fiancee was granted a Settlement Visa on Monday and is returning with me to UK on the 24th. May. :o

The girl at Thai Airways seems to think I need to buy a return ticket, is this correct ?. Also on my Fiancee's Visa it says Multiple entry, does this mean she can leave the UK and return again without having to renew her Visa. Thank you in advance for any help. Regards Gibbo

Hi Gibbo,

Well done.

Your fiancée does not require a return ticket. The whole point of a settlement visa is that the holder is going to live in the UK, so why have a return? Yes, your fiancée can come and go as frequently as she likes within the validity of the visa.

Cheers,

Scouse.

Yes, providing that the purpose for which the visa was issued continues to pertain; i.e. you remain together.

Scouse.
