Where To Repair A Nikon Af Lens In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

I have a 70-210 Nikon Auto Focus lens that will not connect to my Nikon digital camera. The lens is not designed for a digital camera, but it should work on my digital camera. Can anyone recommend a shop in Pattaya where I can have the lens checked and repaired? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to get it checked in Bangkok.

But I do not know where, like most people posting regularly in this forum I use a Canon.

Not sure why actually we have more Canon users posting here :)

Thanks. I know the Nikon shop on Silom Rd. in Bangkok. I'll drop the lens off there when I am in Bangkok next week.

I took my Nikon 70 - 210 D AF lends to the Nikon shop on Silom in Bangkok when I was there last week. They looked at the lens and said that the aperature ring must be locked in its full open position to work on a digital camera. They rotated and locked the aperature ring took a few test pictures (on a D90) which were all fine and I was on my way in 5 minutes. The lens works great and takes great pictures. Thanks for the advice. On a digital camera it is an approximately 115 - 305 lens, which is a pretty good range.
