verity Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Hi all, we will be moving to thailand (ban chang) later on this year with our (will be at the time) 1 year old. been wondering if it will be easy enough to get a car seat, nappies, formula, liquid steralizers (they sell this at tesco over here) etc locally. what should i bring with us that will not be cheaper over in thailand or just not available? we are hoping to add to the family within the next few years (while we are living in this area). I worry about things like local hospitals, pediatricians, sanitation in general, water supply, etc. Any input would be really handy (and hopefully ease some of my concerns) verity
longball53098 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I have no kids but it seems Lotus Banchang has a pretty good selection of the items the little ones need and use.
banchang Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I would bring your car seat with you as you will need it on arrival. Most airlines will allow this with a pushchair free of charge. I remember being worried as you are when I brought my one year old over. Asked our doctor for any advice and she said "don't wory they have babies there too!" As it turned out good advice.
verity Posted March 2, 2010 Author Posted March 2, 2010 Hey gang, thanks for the reply! i appreciate it, and anyone who has any other advice please post/pm me verity
