At Last! Rain!

Featured Replies

Saves watering the garden. Always have millions of litres stored underground. :)

Just stopped chucking it down in Chaweng!!! Started at about 6 AM. 2 power cuts but the shower works now!!! :) And it's cooler! :D

Someone told me this is a three day spell of rain. Has anyone heard any weather reports?

Typical! I order 4 lorries of water as it was getting very low and the day after I get it it pours down. It will go into the big capture tank but another day and I could have saved 2,200 baht. Electric has been good though and hasn't gone off at all during the rain. The garden is enjoying it though :)

Chucking it down all night & today in Ban Rak too. Looks a bit grey & unhappy here but I love seeing the fishing boats waiting it out off of Big Buddha Pier.

Samuians so selfish, just a 30 minutes shower 6 in the morning in Koh Phangan! You keep al the water for you!

Not one drop yet at Ban Ya On

Where is Baan Yao On?

Near Wat Dok Tong

directions please, what bar is it near?

Still only a few showers up here in Chaloklum, it starts raining heavy but then only lasts a few minutes. I don't think it will be enough to fill the wells for very long!

Welcome to a new (for Thaivisa) Koh Phanganer!

Was a nice top up!

expect the next rains around Songkran!

The rain was God-send! I saw a bush fire few nights ago buring on the hill somewhere above Blue Water school. I was shocked since never seen a bush fire before on Samui. Nobody was reacting to it too. I hope it died down after the rain.
