There are some army surplus shops on Manee Nopparat which is the outer northern moat road. They should have what you are looking for.

Did you try the police shop near Chanpuak gate ? They must have them there.

US Army boots, black and tan-desert colors, are sold by "Platoon" which is ~300 meters east of the superhighway on Chotana towards MaeRim. These are more expensive than the Thai army boots.
