May 22, 200520 yr Hi, I'm looking for a Thailand based company which is able to do simple electronics work (making small modifications on digital camera, installing them into cases for a surveillance unit) Possibly will consider having a special PCB made here as well. Company or individual would need to have established premises/workshop with tools and hardware. This is a small volume project which could easily be done in spare time by the right person. I can supply the materials and instructions/sample units Please PM me or post info if you have it. Thanks SVB
May 23, 200520 yr Author (why can't I see an edit button in my original post) Adding to the above - will also consider someone who is China based - say in the Shenzen/Pearl River Delta Region, or as close to Hong Kong as possible. If you have any ideas or contacts you can offer I would appreciate it. Thanks SVB
June 7, 200520 yr Are you interested in having individuals do this work vice a company? I'm in area south of Bangkok. I could do about 4 hours per day. How would I receive/forward the materials? Regards, Cherryboy
June 7, 200520 yr Not to burst your bubble before you do whatever it is you're planning to do but there's a company in thailand that's been around for 20 years providing monitoring devices founded by a guy from california (i think). Anyhow, maybe you're doing something totally unrelated but at least it's proof that there is expertise for what you need in thailand. Company link below: http://www.akcpinc.com/

I've got a robotics project in mind... --------------- Have you been down to the Ban Mor area near Chinatown ? The have scores of shops with all sorts of electronic and mechanical parts for sale. For quantities less than 100, good chance some shop will have what you need.
