Is there a market for US locked 3GS Iphones in Thailand?

I plan on buying a new Iphone in Thailand after I arrive, but even going a few days without my Iphone would be an inconvenience and I'd rather sell if after I have the new Iphone in hand.

if it is 3.1.2 firmware then sell it here.

Go to Settings -> General -> About and check your firmware version.

If it's 3.1.3, sell it in the USA - it can't be unlocked and nobody will buy it in Thailand. If it's 3.1.2 sell in Thailand.

I am getting an Ipad though so that should help take over for the Iphone until I get a new one in Thailand.

I am in Thailand now and have a like new (no scratches) 3GS 32gb Black iphone with 3.1.2 software. How much could I get for it and how do I go about selling it? I am the original owner and got it in the USA 3 months ago.
