I would like to go out for fun and go singing with my friends. Can anyone recommend a good clean fun place. It can even be a little bit dodgy but it has to have a good selection of songs.

next to the bus station on Phang Nga road in Phuket town there is a large sea food place which has a few private karioke bungalows with excellent western music and you don't have to listen to some screeming issan fool for your turn, they will serve you food, it's air conditioned, you can smoke, order drinks and it is open late.

Had some fab nights out with friends in there.

Little hard to read the Thai script if you dont speak / read Thai no ?? Or are familiar with the usual Thai love songs.

Simply asking for a Karaoke that has english language songs and text is not that shocking a thing no ?? Jeez some people.

Personally 'good' and 'karaoke' is an oxymoron to me but if you like em no harm..

The ST Hotel just before Phuket Town has nice rooms with English songs. You can order drinks and food there.

Every time I pass that hotel its name makes me smile..
