Extending Tourist Visa Chiang Mai

This morning went to Chiang Mai Immigration to extend tourist visa. It was a cake walk all the way.

Arrived at 0845 went into the room marked extensions and collected a tm 7 form and filled it out, went back inside and the door man checked the form said ok and gave me a que number 15. he then directed me to copy center for 1 copy of passport front page, 1 of visa, and 1 of tm 6, pasted photo on form and signed copies.

I asked door man to check again everything ok, sat down for about 15 min. and number came up went to counter and the official checked everything and asked for a phone number and1900 baht exact change.

Sat down and at 0945 called to counter and given passport with 30 day extension signed the offered form and off I went good for 30 days from 5 April until 5 may. The process was very painless and easy.
