Are there any government funded or low cost clinics in Chiang Mai My wife is concerned her 20 year old Son is taking Yaba.

She will be going back next week to try to sort him out. If anyone knows of a place that would fit the bill. I would be most grateful

Moving to the health forum. I believe there is a forum sponsor that is a drug rehab facility.

You should try, as well, to contact "phraerik" who is a monk for more than three years at Wat Tamkrabok, and member of this forum.

All the best.

The problem is, does the user themselves want to stop ??

When an addict wants to continue to be an addict, combined with the pull of the drug, and possibly social circle.. Its not going to happen. Only when the person themselves can recognise they need to stop can any progress be made.

Thanks For the info I will let my wife know and the rest is up to her.

LivinLOS That could be the big problem. I think even if he does go. The question is will he stay Clean. That is up to him.

My wife is rightly worried about him. Personally I think he will go back to his old ways Like you rightly said he has to want it and not get pushed into it

Time will tell. Thanks again At least she has the info
