Sorry if this post is repetitious: I’ve read a lot of the info in 34 pages of hits when searching “Re-Entry Permit” but could not find all the answers to my questions, 2 remain:-

a. Can one obtain a multiple re-entry permit (3800Baht) or a single re-entry (1000Baht) at the same time as the 12 month extension ( to “O” class) is validated no matter when the intended use may be?

b. Can the re-entry permit be obtained from a provincial Immigration office like the Nong Khay where my extension will be processed?

In theory, yes. All immigration offices should be able to do it; but note the word "should".

I made the reservation ("should") because a couple of years ago at least one of the outlying immigration offices (Kab Cheong) did not have the facility to issue "re-entry permits". Maybe they are now up to speed and can therefore issue them. I'll check next time I'm there (June) and post what I find out.
