The new 2.5 vn turbo vigo has only 16hp less than the 3litre, I don't believe you need 4x4 here as you won't use it unless you are off roading and using more fuel with 4x4.

I signed up for a Nissan navara calibre 4 door AT.Partly because I find it the most attractive pick up currently on the market and also because they made me "an offer I couldn't refuse".

As I said previously I think the 4x4 option is not really neccessary if you live in the city,but the navara has the same looks and is available in automatic transmission.If Toyota would make their prerunner available in AT I might have considered that one.

As a 2wd auto I d say you v made the best choise.

Even if Prerunner would come with auto, it still lacks 2 airbags, ABS and leatherseats. Toyota is running extremely tight logistic in LOS, with few colors and options to keep costs down. and still is marketleader with 42% of the pickupmarket. clever

Are you sure that a prerunner doesn't have ABS or airbags?Then that car should belong in the classics series.Can't understand how they can maintain that marketshare with what they have to offer but yeah we all know which country we are staying.

not having ABS and airbags is honest enough, perhaps some prerunners can be ordered with this.

Izu/chevy even worse using a 3 sensor ABS system from the 80s, giving stopping distance on wet surface longer than a 24wheeler

they actually stop faster disconnecting this dated ABS

My 2007 4x4 Vigo doesn't have a passenger airbag , amazing really but what ever, l was going to buy a Toyota. Not sure but I believe the the 2010 has. But it does have ABS and traction control hardwear. I thought the Prerunner also had all this stuff minus the 4x4. Have to have a look on the spec stuff.

2010 Vigo 4x4 comes with 2 airbags. your limited slip diff has been replaced by electronic traction control using brakes to increase traction on slipping wheel, only 20 years after Range Rover came with this as standard .

actually miss the limited slip on my 2004 and 2006, made drifting much more fun
