Can someone share the prices they've been able to get at some of the clothing vendors up on the 6th floor? I'm looking at XL polo shirts as well as the tourist type shirts (Thai Red Bull, Thai Coke, etc..) Just wondered how far off what they'll quote me is the right price.

And now for a useful response. MBK isn't too bad for that, alot of the shops there have set prices. I would say, unless you are buying bulk then there wont' be much wiggle for negotiation, its not like street vendors who charge like the light brigade.

For the most part regular printed t-shirts are 99 Bt, if you buy four or five of them you might get a slight discount but at that price I don't think you can really go wrong.

There are a few stalls that sell higher quality t-shirts for 199 Bt, I tried getting them down in price but they wouldn't have any of it so I walked away and they didn't ask me to come back. I think this is the correct price. Some of these shirts have two or three colour screen prints on them (large front print and small print on back) so for 99 Bt they are a good deal I think.

If you want to buy in larger quantities for better prices I heard that Platinum Mall near Pan Tip is the place to go, either there or Pratunam market although I haven't been to either of these places yet.

Larger sizes cost more. Not always because its"more material" but because mainly foreigners buy larger sizes.

Good price for XL is 120-190 baht(depends on the model and design)

Smaller sizes 99baht

Almost all MBK shops on the 6th floor buy from Pratunam, so better head over there as you will buy the same thing but for almost half the price.

If you can be bothered, go to Bobae market, even cheaper.

This is interesting, I'll definitely have to check out this Pratunam market, does anyone know what time it opens and closes ?

Pratunam is a big area, of which Platinum fashion mall is one aircon center, Pratunam center (i think its called, on the corner) doesnt' have quite the selection and then along the streets there are numerous little warrens of shopping.

Platinum fashion mall is mostly wholesale so you won't get a cheaper price if you only buy one piece.

Other days from around 10-11am to 17-18pm, then when you cross on the other side Pratunam center right outside have a night market - more bargains
