Flight Bargain

Featured Replies

I just saw this advert on the Thaivisa homepage.

post-48222-1272521654_thumb.jpg

Is it my lack of morning caffeine or is there a misleading price?

Not misleading , that's the way they advertise:

Base Fare :

4700.00 THB

Fuel and Insurance Surcharges:

1560.00 THB

Passenger Service Charge:

700.00 THB

Total:

6960.00 THB

^But it says, 4,700thb 'all inclusive'.

Not really,

it says:

All EXclusive

Actually, it says all EXclusive. What a silly way to advertise fares.

Wel this is Thailand. What do you expect commonsense????

all around the world its a usual way of advertising like this.

(its written clearly: All Exclusive- so where is something wrong ??)

If you look at other adverts by the same company to different destinations they say INclusive, so why is this one different?

I didn't mean it was silly to advertise fares and then add on fees and charges. Of course that is a normal practice with nearly all airlines. I meant that it was silly to specifically have a banner proclaiming "all exclusive," as if it's something exciting for the consumer. But, I guess maybe it's brilliant rather than silly....I bet it brings a lot of customers who didn't read carefully to the website. :)

And I never said (or intended to imply) that there was anything wrong with the ad. Just that it was silly. :D

:) <deleted> scam

what do you call it, when you go to a restaurant and look at the prices in the menu card.

And at the bottom of the page is written: Prices do not include 10% service charge and VAT.

This I would call SCAM

That is the first time I have ever seen "all EXclusive". Very silly, would imply excluding flight, baggage, whatever; most likely the retard who wrote the ad intended something else. Add-ons are the greatly favored tricks of AirAsia and RyanAir.

Typical Thai fares all look quite good when the quote says...say Bt 20 K...Bangkok /London return which is about right in the reverese direction (Lon/Bk)....Jet-Oman-Kingf etc but then when you try and book ....

it DOUBLES with the xtras.....CRAZY....scam....but it seems to be accepted :) and all they all seem to do it.

Imagine (sa above) going into a hamburger joint and ordering the big wotever .....99bt but when it arrives .......err that will be ......180...or whatever....

as they say...TIT.... :D

That's like the "going out for business" sale scam.

When ya see A thailand airfare just double it,that'll be closer to the real price.
