How could anyone like a person who yells at them - ...regardless of what the unattractive man is trying to convey?

I would expect that type of vitriol if I just stupidly backed my truck over a man's pet poodle. But is he railing like that in order to gain support of listeners? That says something about the listeners, doesn't it? ...if it's effective.
