Inspired by the recent Tuna thread I had a sandwich experience myself yesterday

Standing in line in the local 7/11 there was a cut out cardboard sign advertising their 'breville' style toasted sandwiches.

Then a picture of a 'hot custard toasted sandwich'. I know this is a different part of the world but <deleted> ? Custard in a sandwich ?

Actually they do not use Bread but a cake mix and they taste quite nice. Maybe you missed the Strawberry and cheese ones.

I'm the same, can't even think of an ice cream sarnie. Couldn't bring myself to trying out peanut butter with jelly while I was in the USA. People tell me it's great. Thanks but no thanks :) .

Old fashioned I may be but I'll stay that way 'til I die. :D
