Sunday Lunch Specials

This Sunday, 1st August. We have Roast Garlic Lamb served with roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Puddings, Onion Mash, Veg and Gravy and a free portion of Apple Pie and Custard or Bread and Butter Pudding and Custard. We are also, on the advice of a few TV members bringing in a Vegetarian Sunday Lunch with Veg Pie replacing the meat (all the potatoes and veggies are cooked in a non meat environment). Many Americans enjoy a traditional British/Australian Sunday Lunch, but be forewarned that's what it is. There won't be a 'cheese blintzie' in sight. .......a free martini - with olive of course for any TV member who tries our Sunday Lunch on 1st August. We've got Rosso, Bianco and Extra Dry. You choose!!! (you'll only get the one though, not three- wouldn't want to remind you of Wall St.!

In response to a few phone calls we have received, Yes, we are still doing roast Beef, Roast Pork and Roast Chicken today (Sunday 1st August) The Garlic Lamb is a special we put on twice a month. and the free Martini is for one day only: today!!

All Welcome

So, today August 1st you get free Apple Pie or BB Pud and Custard plus a free Martini with olive.

Wow, now that's a very good deal!!

That's the height of it Uptheos! The Apple Pie should be offered automatically, but you have to opt into the free Martini by telling the waitress you want the ThiaVisa drink!

Is that just with the Garlic Lamb or any roast dinner?

I wonder if theres still some lamb left.... might go in an hour or so and then go to the walking street.

Well, thanks to TV we sold out of everything except beef by about 2.30pm, so early that the Asst. Chef went to Rimping to buy more Pork and we started all over again!!

We know it was thanks to TV due to the amount of people asking for the Martinis! (no-one else knew about that offer)

I think once your offer is made, it's natural for people to tell others even if they aren't TV members.

But hey, what's the difference a customer is a customer and you sold out right?

It might sound like a funny question, but what time do you offer the sunday lunch until normally? I've not had an english roast for years, and it sounds like i should get trip down memory lane into my life. Ideally i'd come along to your pub mate mid afternoon, enjoy the meal, let it sink in, then hotfoot it over to the 700 year stadium to take in chiang mai fc's game! But there again, that's a three week wait.

When will you have lamb next? Because that's the clincher for me.

Also, is there a somewhat quieter time for your sunday lunches normally? I'd not like to arrive and find myself unable to get a table!

Loads of customers....well done, you offered a lot of extras.

Too bad none of them gave any feedback though.

Well they did, Uptheos, just not on this forum! We had a lot of feedback yesterday, most of it positive, and the negative mainly surrounding the fact that we sold out early!

As I'm sure you know mate, the more 'extras' you offer in Chiang Mai the better you do!

I wouldn't know, I've never been to an establishment that offers 'extras'. :whistling:
