According to the photos on Thaksin's facebook page, in the past few months he's visited Uganda, Saudi Arabia and Russia. All 3 countries are commodity driven economies i.e. precious metals and/or petroleum are their primary assets for export. Judging from the locations he has visited within the past few months, I would conclude that Thaksin sees a promising future in petroleum and precious metals.

Or repression of free speech, or who knows what else. Sounds like the old argument that goes like this: 90% of heroin addicts smoked marijuana before they became addicted to Heroin. May be the case, but 100% breathe Oxygen. Hard to prove a cause-effect relationship.
