Food By Phone / Chefs Xp

Featured Replies

Which company do you prefer to order through and why?

Also which are your favourite restaurants to order food from when you can't be bothered to go and get it yourself? :)

I use Food By Phone and Chef's XP, depends on what I would like to eat.

Anyhow, I noticed a couple of different things:

2 times I had to complain with Food by Phone, because they deliver the wrong food. Customer service was both times great, they called me right away and they deliver the correct order within no time.

I had a complain with Chefs XP but there was no response at all. Last time I ordered from Chefs XP I got my food in a plastic bag, because the original packing was broken.

Furthermore, the messengers of Food by Phone are very friendly, helpful and clean guy's. The messengers from Chefs XP sometimes smell dirty like they not shower for quite a while, that's no joke.

I would recommend Food by Phone, even they are slightly more expensive.

I've used both services and mainly stay with chefsxp. I would agree that sometimes the delivery guy could do with a wash once in a while. I normally make up the same order on both sites and check the difference in price. I ordered an Indian about a week ago and the price difference was about 400 baht in favour of chefsxp so it was the way to go. However, Food by phone also has a good service so I mainly differentiate on cost and accept the sometimes smelly bikers.

As kevinbkk says, there are some items that are unique to each delivery service but good competition overall and great to have the service.

MNM

I don't care what the biker smells or looks like and haven't noticed any problems at all.

I order food from these places via ChefsXP :

Sunrise Tacos

The Londoner

Jools

Mrs Balbirs

Pickled Liver

Subway

And a few more that aren't worth mentioning.

I would like to add that Mrs Balbirs make excellent food and it's similar to the kind of curry I am used to - being from England we have different tastes and expectations from our curry to the Indians.

I always add 4-6 bottles of water onto my order, this saves me carrying heavy bags from the stores.

Why not do a poll Onnut?
