If you are interested in teaching at an international school in Yangon, Myanmar and are qualified by education and experience to instruct Biology or Chemistry at the IGCSE level, please contact me by PM for details. The salary and benefits are most competitive and the starting date will be in early August. :)

i taught at an international school in myanmar for a year - and i would say that it is a million times better than any job i've ever had in thailand. parents, teachers and staff are friendly, and there is much less cultural bs that gets in the way of teaching and communicating with people. i went back last year, and the folks at the school remembered me, and waved when they saw me on the school bus - that would never happen in the land of fake smiles :)

and by the way - there are rich and educated people in burma, many have nothing to do with politics. you may find yourself teaching foreigners married with locals, locals who've come back from os for business/family reasons, children of embassy workers, people who own legit businesses, celebrities and, of course, sons and daughters of ruling elites (but they waaaay in the minority).
