Wow! The phone is finally in the hands of my relative. Thank God. I didn’t think it would make it to its destination using regular mail. Thanks to all that replies to my forum. Peace!

All p1ss taking aside.... I'm truly am glad that it has arrived safely, but next time maybe send it registered, save yourself the worry.

Thai Post Mail Sorters or Thai Customs might do you a deal :o

Had one of customs boys ring me up on their new phone the other day, said they had one for sale $50 told me had just come in from the U.S :D

Is it? I'm sorry , but in this case it's not nice to be wrong. Call me a spoilsport if you like, but in these troubled times, and seeing what un-licenced mobile phones can be used for, I think it is a serious black mark against Thai security letting one get through. And any way if they had any doubt how to get one passed inspection, they certainly know how to now.I apologise for being a stick-in-the-mud, but I'm afraid the whole world is in turmoil.
