Websites without a secure connection with
When a website does not use SSL (i.e. it uses HTTP instead of HTTPS), the connection between your browser and the server is unencrypted. This means any data you transmit—such as login credentials, personal information, or credit card details—can be intercepted and read by anyone with access to the network, such as attackers on public Wi-Fi. Most modern browsers actively block access to non-secure sites or display prominent warnings, which is justified. If a website still does not support HTTPS in 2025, it indicates a lack of basic security practices. It is advisable to avoid submitting any sensitive information on such sites, as doing so exposes you to a high risk of data theft.
