actually that ranking is great Mahidol is the highest ranking Asian University outside of the big 4 or 5 if you split HK from China, this includes India even.

Their life sciences department is quite highly ranked, much better than many "good" universities in the states. Their program is also connected to the #1 hospital in asia.
