Chaweng Beach Hotels

Have some friends that are going to stay in Chaweng Beach for about a week or more and wondered what you could recommend. They're looking for the place to have A/C and UBC at least. Doesn't need to be fancy but not a dump either. Around the 700 baht range is what they're looking at. Thanks for any help.

I always stay at Chaweng Beach Gardens opposite Green Mangoe the centre of Chaweng, right on the beach, variety of standards of accommodation, and next to many other 'on the beach' type places (as opposed to 3 star western type accommodation), for around 1000bht you can get big room , cable TV, fridge, A/c for a week negotiate 10% discount. Off season who knows? Walk everwhere.

If not worried about location too much , above the ladybar revue next to Seven at Green Mangoe they have air con and cable for I think about 500bht but you are getting close to the Noise.

If you prefer a '3 star' western style hotel maybe somone else has smoe ideas.

the chavin conotel oppesite pizza hut is ok. rooms have a/c + fan + tv + hot water, pretty basic but for 500 bhat a night can't complain.
