Hi All,

Due to the red shirt rally, my work permit application was delayed, and my non immigrant visa will be expiring on the 24th may.

May anybody out there can advice me what to do next.

Is it possible for me to extend my non-immigrant visa in bangkok?

If possible, how long can I extend.

Hope to get the reply asap as its very urgent.

Thank you and best regards.

You should be able to get a seven day extension to allow time for work permit and then the normal work extension of stay if you are otherwise qualified for it. If you will not immediately qualify for a one year extension of stay you should depart and obtain a new non immigrant visa now.

Edit: On second read it is not clear if your work permit is delayed or if you have not even applied yet - if you do not have a receipt for application it is unlikely you will be able to obtain a new non immigrant visa so in that case you need to wait.
