Good Optician In Bkk

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was wondering are there any "recommended" opticians in Thailand / Bangkok?

I have never needed galsses before but I think I might need them now..... starting to find it difficult to read distant objects etc.

Any recommendations based on service / quality / value would be much appreicated!

THanks in advance.

Very much agree! I've been going there for 15 years, glaucoma monitoring and a couple cataract ops, they do good work.

Best to get a complete eye check first, then do the refraction tests for glasses. You don't have to have to do the lens and frames there, can get the prescription and go out on the street, several shops nearby on Sukumvit.

FYI, as in the U.S. and elsewhere, the frames might well be the major cost!
