Violence Reached Onnut

Featured Replies

I live near BTS Onnut, and felt perfectly safe until Wednesday when I read about a bomb at Onnut Tesco Lotus. Until Wednesday, Onnut seemed far enough away from the hot zones to feel un-affected. I would only read about bombs and gunshots, but during the last two nights I have been able to hear bombs and one gunshot. I feel uneasy when I hear this. Wednesday night I heard a very loud bang that sounded quite close to my building. Last night (Thurs) I heard what sounded like two bombs (sounded far away; one sounded very powerful), one gunshot, and a strange siren sound.

Anyone else hear this? I am interested to hear feedback from other people in this area. It would be nice if the people in Onnut area could have an ongoing thread to keep track of the situation here. Things do seem to be calming down a bit now, but maybe we can use this thread to share information in case the situation does not improve.

Thanks for reading.
