World Cup -- Best Places To Watch?

Featured Replies

Alright, now let's turn our attention to the really important stuff -- The World Cup!! Does anybody have any recommendations on good places to catch the games? Any places going out of their way to draw in the World Cup crowd with special offers, etc?

I wonder if as many outdoor venues will be open this time around given the security situation in Bangkok. The games will be fun this year -- this city needs a break!

Thanks so much for bothering to contribute that reply. Please post your home address so we can all pop over. I'll bring hotdogs.

Dont know about special offers but the salty dogs have been talking were to watch and we could only come up with two definite's The Pickled Liver and trusty Brian at the Crossbar sure their will be more when it all starts if you hear of any please keep us informed.

At this present moment of typing 3-1 to the good boys maybe this could be our time. :)

England win the world cup? Better move this thread to the joke section. LOL. No offence, but you have no hope.

i will hazard a guess at the fact that they are not even taking part in this years world cup!

anyway back on topic.

the usual haunts i suspect are showing the games.

the crossbar, as already mentioned.

the robin hood, suk 35.

the londoner, suk 33.

soi 8 bar, (maybe although it is rugby orientated) suk 8.

gullivers, soi 5.

the aussie bar, (maybe a good laugh if they come through the group stages and are drawn up against one of the big guns) suk 11.

the black swan, suk 14-12.

the bulls head, suk 35.

anything between nana, asoke along sukumvit should be showing the games. too many to mention.
