Touring jade Buddha statue returns 'home' to Canada

The Jade Buddha for Universal Peace is displayed in Sydney on July 10, 2009. This is the largest Buddha carved from gemstone quality jade and was created by skilled craftsmen in Thailand. The jade Buddha is on a world tour which commenced in Vietnam in March 2009 and was unveiled in Sydney as part of the preparation for the visit of the Dalai Lama to Sydney in December.
