Non O Multiple Entry

Recommended Posts

Hey guys im asking this Question on behalf of my friend who sadly do not own a PC and internet connectio LOL...Well the guy is a Singaporean in his early 30's married to t Thai nationals for 2 years now and he have got a Non-O multiple entry Visa..... Ok the problem is that his visa will expire next month...

Can he at least get an extention for another 1 month and Suan Plu Immigration??

Before flying off???

I was told before from a friend that those married to a thai and have kids are allowed to extend their stay in bangkok by applying for an extention at Suan plu without exiting the country ??? IS that True???

And second of all i also heard that IF a farang husban is married to a thai and have Kids he is exempted from the 2 million baht of company capital and only needs 1 million ?? and also he is exempted from declaring a 45K baht of Salary?? in which he could get pay below45k baht due to him supporting his child and family ???

Any answer would be glad...as i need to tell my friend what is the outcome ...As he is now in Chaingrai province....

Thanx in advance for the info's & Help

Regards

tytus

If your friend does a visa run before his visa expires he will get another 90 day stay permit, even if he enters Thailand on the last day of his visa. I'm not sure if he can extend his stay at Suan Plu (anyone help here?).

Married to Thai (don't need kids) can extend 1 year at a time, but needs 400,000 in a Thai bank account.

Also the company capital is reduced to 1 million but AFAK the salary requirements don't change.

If your friend wants to start a company, he should contact Indosiam (on this board) very good advice.

1. He can extend his stay on the basis of supporting a Thai wife at any immigration office - final approval is at Suan Phlu but forms can be submitted upcountry. Will need to show 400k in bank account that should be of foreign origin if not legally working here. Income of 40k per month can also be used or to make up for any shortfall.

2. If he can not prove foreign money transfer or legal employment he can cross border up to last day of current visa (visa - not permitted to stay stamp) and obtain another 90 day permitted to stay stamp.

Thanx for the reply guys...ok just got a call from my friend...According to him he have been going in and out of thailand and every 3 month gets 3 month stamp on the passport at Don muang airport..

Aftter 11 month of doing that way the Visa is soon expiring and that he needs to go over to Singapore and get a new Visa at Thai Embassy ...

But instead of going to Singapore after expiring is there any way that he could get another 1 month stamp at suan plu Immigration and pay any fees...

The reason he was asking for this another 1 month stamp is that his wanted to wait for his wife vacation approval and travell together with the family on August..

Thanx for the help again.....

As I tried to say if his "visa" is still valid he only has to cross a border and return to obtain another 90 day stay stamp. A one year visa can be used for up to almost 15 months if you exit and return near the end of the year validity.

Well his visa validity is until 15 july....he just come back from Singapore for a 2 days travell..and the airport immigration stamp his passport till september...so when september comes then that time his visa has expired..but still have extra couple of weeks due to the 90days stamp....So do u think if the visa has expired and the stamp lesf only 4 days to expire is there any chances that he gets at least another 1 month stamp at Suan plu???

any answer would be helpfull

A 90 day stay is not eligible for a normal extension so it would be up to the story presented as to if they would extend him another 30 days.

As all he needs to do is cross a border and return to obtain 30 days I would not bother asking and just exit/enter - would not cost any more.

Thanx for your answer Lopburi you are a great help ill let me friend know about all the answer here ... and i will suggest to him to exit and enter to get another 1 month....

thanx again to all

That'll be 3 months not 1 month

Singapore is listed as 30 day entry without visa in both IATA and MFA web sites. He will not have a valid visa for that trip in September. Do they give 90 days for visa free entry? Hardly seems worthwhile having a visa in that case.
